Martha Stewart to bring food, wine to Prospect Park
The USA Today Network will partner with Martha Stewart to bring the Martha Stewart Wine and Food Experience to the LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The event is part of “an American culinary tour for fans and connoisseurs alike which will include exploration of fine food, wine, craft beer and spirits from local and national chefs and mixologists,” according to My Central Jersey, which is part of the USA Today Network. About 2,000 people are expected to attend the event, in addition to top chefs from the city’s culinary community.
“New York is my home, and I’m always proud to share my favorite restaurants, food and purveyors here,” said Stewart, who was born in Jersey City and currently lives in Westchester County. Stewart herself will present one of the cooking demonstrations with a pot roast recipe from her latest cookbook.
