Brooklyn’s second-most expensive home just hit the market with an asking price of $15 million.

The Bay Ridge mansion is styled like an Italian villa, complete with columns, gilding and marble. The property sits on half an acre, and includes not only a two-car garage and swimming pool (with a slide), but also two solariums and a gazebo.

Inside, the house boasts seven bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, multiple sitting rooms and a master suite with a dressing room that has its own separate balcony.

The place was originally owned by auto dealership tycoon Carmelo Giuffre, who lived there with his family for over 30 years. The Wall Street Journal reported that the mansion was originally a surprise from Giuffre for his wife, Marianna. Mrs. Giuffere had admired the house when the couple walked past it after first moving to Brooklyn in the 1950’s, and when Mr. Giuffere had realized his financial success over three decades later, he made an offer.

Now listed by Corcoran, the mansion sits on the corner of Shore Road and 82nd Street, close to the waterfront. The only listing with a higher price is a condo at 1 Brooklyn Bridge Park, which comes with a $16.9 million price tag.
