A Brooklyn Heights resident and newly minted dad has one more reason to break out the metaphorical cigars after winning a spat with City Hall.

Back in June, Brian Leo received a $65 alternate-side parking ticket. He had failed to move his car to the other side of the street — he was at the hospital with his wife and their newborn son.

Now, three months later, he has successfully appealed the undeserved ticket, the New York Post reported. One of the judges even told him “congratulations” for the new baby as he left his appeals hearing earlier this month.

His appeal was approved on Saturday, but he’s still waiting for the refund. “It’s for some extra baby formula,” he joked to the Post.
