Alex Raij and Eder Montero, the married couple behind the popular Cobble Hill Spanish restaurant La Vara, are opening their newest restaurant Thursday. Saint Julivert Fisherie, which is located at 264 Clinton St., boasts a creative menu that centers around seafood. “I always wanted to draw attention to fish,” Raij told The New York Times.

Dishes include raw scallops with shiso tacos, sea urchin with a sweet-corn chawanmushi custard and tuna casserole with leaf. Others are more reminiscent of Raij’s other restaurants, with Spain featuring more prominently: Txikito-style octopus carpaccio and skate with sherry, chili and parsley.

The space used to be their Texoá coffee bar, and now reflects Raij’s vision of the Maison de Verre in Paris, with glass brick, a complex hanging fixture by David Weeks and hard-edged metal finishes. The dining space and central bar can seat 40 people.
