New York City’s number one selling condominium is said to be The Edge, a relatively new condominium development on the waterfront in Williamsburg.

It was recently named the Best High Rise Community by the National Association of Homebuilders at its Pillars of Industry Awards celebration.

Edge developer Jeffrey Levine, chair of Douglaston Development, has also recently reported that the complex is at 100 percent occupancy, breaking multiple sales records in both Brooklyn and Manhattan.

“I am extremely proud to accept this award on behalf of The Edge, as it is recognition for all of our efforts in establishing a genuine community in a condominium,” he said. “We have been successful in our efforts because we offer our residents unparalleled amenities, quality retailers, and a location that allows for easy access to some of Brooklyn’s most popular markets and events.”

The award for “Best High Rise Community” was announced in an online virtual ceremony in October that included a master of ceremonies and a montage of creative videos and images of The Edge’s distinctive features and marketing materials.

Along with this recognition, an April market report stated that the building was responsible for $20 million of the quarter’s $32 million in Brooklyn sales, according to Levine.
