Bklyn Beast, the borough’s first “parkour” gym, has opened on Bogart Street in Bushwick, the Brooklyn Paper reports.

Parkour is a discipline that developed out of military obstacle course training, according to Wikipedia. The exercise, which includes climbing, jumping and running, traditionally uses no equipment other than trees, walls or abandoned structures.

The Bogart Street gym includes padded mats, a trampoline, obstacles, a curved wall, a foam pit and “graffiti murals to create an urban aesthetic,” the Brooklyn Paper says.
