O Wind, if Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?
— Percy Bysshe Shelley

It was 62 degrees when Brooklynites woke up this morning.

What a perfect day to play hooky from work — or volunteer to snap warm-weather photos in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

This winter’s wild mood swings have brought Brooklyn fake-spring warmth and arctic cold.

Remember the bomb cyclone? It swept through our borough with a bizarre blast of wind and snow just last month.

It may be hard to recall there was an apocalyptic snowstorm so recently when you see today’s photos of visitors soaking up the sun on the shoreline beside the Empire Stores complex.

Other visitors are out on Pier 1, snapping selfies with the World Trade Center and the Brooklyn Bridge in the background.

There are people posing for pix on the bouncy bridge that connects Brooklyn Bridge Park and Squibb Park.

Weather.com says it’s going to be 74 degrees this afternoon.

So carpe diem, kids. Sneak out of the office for a coffee break. Don’t take your jacket with you. You do not need it.

The weather website says that tomorrow, it’s going to rain. And temps will range from 36 to 47 degrees. Ugh.
