Presentations by Jennifer Sinton and Hanna Roman of South Brooklyn Legal Services Foreclosure Prevention Project. Course is intended solely for homeowner advocates currently working on a foreclosure matter through the VLP Foreclosure Intervention Project or those who are prepared to accept a pro bono referral for a foreclosure or other matter from the VLP before May 1, 2012. Fri., Feb. 3, African-American Quilt Exhibit, 1-2p,
In celebration of Black History Month, an exhibit of African-American quilts hand-sewn by Brooklyn court employees will be on display in Brooklyn Criminal Court throughout February. A special reception will be held on Feb. 3 with guest speaker Hon. Geraldine Pickett. All are welcome to this free event sponsored by the courts' Black History Month Committee.
