Busy times for Fontbonne Hall Academy students
High schoolers visit Met, take part in Diamond Challenge
The year 2017 is proving to be a busy one so far for students at Fontbonne Hall Academy in Bay Ridge, who started off the year by taking a tour of the galleries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and signing up for a contest for high school entrepreneurs.
In January, ninth and tenth graders who are enrolled in the Advanced Placement (AP) World History course visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where they took a guided tour of the museum’s collection of ancient art. The students and their faculty chaperones, Jenna Caufield, Gloria Musto, Nicole Marinello and Jennifer McNiff, also enjoyed seeing sculptures from ancient Rome and Greece as well as ancient Egyptian tombs and mummies.
