Poly Prep Country Day School: Mind, body and character
The school offers a program of academics, athletics, arts and extracurricular activities guided by a committed faculty, in a diverse school community on two campuses: the 25-acre Middle and Upper School campus in Dyker Heights and the newly renovated, award-winning Lower School mansions in Park Slope.
Facilities at both locations include renovated libraries, classrooms and science labs with new technology, spacious dance and art studios, new athletics fields and outdoor play areas, and the Upper School’s striking entrance oval, ponds and Quad.
Through a progressive liberal arts curriculum and an enriching co-curricular program featuring the arts and athletics, Poly students experience excellence—intellectually, physically, and morally—across many disciplines.
Poly has maintained a 30-year commitment to the College Board’s Advanced Placement Program with 300-plus tests administered to more than 100 test-takers each year; and also offers 18 Advanced Placement courses (more than 30 classes) each year.
