Narrows Community Theater presents ‘The Wedding Singer’
A cast of zany, lovable characters, including a wannabe rock star, a winsome waitress who wins his affection and a spicy grandmother, are all part of the fun of “The Wedding Singer,” the 2006 Broadway musical that was based on the hilarious 1998 movie starring Adam Sandler.
Narrows Community Theater, a theater company based in Bay Ridge, is presenting its version of the madcap musical comedy in a series of performances starting May 1 at the Fort Hamilton Post Theater, located at the U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Hamilton.
The shows will take place on May 1, 2, 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. and on May 3 and 10 at 2 p.m. The Fort Hamilton Army Base Theater is located at 403 General Lee Ave. inside the garrison. Visitors should enter the fort at the main gate at Fort Hamilton Parkway and 101st Street. A photo ID is required to enter the military base.
